Present continuous: is/are wearing + clothing

Use 'is wearing' (for he/she) or 'are wearing' (for they/you) to describe what someone has on right now.

She is wearing a red dress.

He is wearing a blue shirt and grey trousers.

They are wearing school uniforms.

I am wearing my favourite shoes today.

Today is Lisa's first day at her new job. She wants to look professional. She is wearing a smart black dress and white shoes. She has a blue jacket because the office is cold. Her bag is also blue. She looks in the mirror and smiles. Her friend calls: 'You look great!' Lisa feels confident and happy. She is ready for her first day.
