Grammar Focus
Going to + infinitive for future plans
Use 'am/is/are going to' followed by the base verb to talk about plans or intentions for the future.
I am going to visit my sister next weekend.
She is going to start a new job in January.
They are going to travel to Japan next summer.
We are not going to be here next week.
