A Typical Tuesday

My name is Priya and I live in London. On Tuesdays, I wake up at six thirty. I shower, make coffee, and catch the 7:15 bus. I work in an office and my shift starts at eight. At lunchtime, I usually eat a salad in the park near my building. After work, I go to a yoga class. In the evening, I cook dinner, read for thirty minutes, and go to bed by ten thirty. I enjoy my routine.

1. What time does Priya's shift start?

2. What does she do after work?

Discuss these questions with a partner or your teacher.

1Describe your typical morning routine to your partner. What time do you wake up? What do you do first?
2Ask your partner: 'What does your evening look like?' Listen and report back to the class.

Write 4–6 sentences describing what a typical weekday looks like for you. Use present simple and third-person examples.

Example: I wake up at seven every morning. I eat breakfast and check my phone. My flatmate usually leaves before me. I take the metro to college at eight thirty.
