Simple present (I work / he works / she works)

Use the simple present for daily habits and facts. Add -s or -es for he/she/it.

I work in a hospital.

She works in an office.

He teaches English at a school.

They manage a big team.

My name is James. I am a teacher. I work in a school in the city. I start work at eight o'clock every morning. My colleagues are very friendly. At lunchtime, I eat in the school café. I finish work at four o'clock. After work, I go to the gym. I like my job because I love helping students learn new things.
